The notices of using titanium electrodes

The size of the titanium electrode is stable, and the electrode spacing is not changed during the electrolysis process, which can ensure that the electrolysis can be carried out in the case of the stable groove voltage. Titanium electrode has strong corrosion resistance and it can work in many corrosive electrolytic medium with special requirements. The working life of titanium electrode is long, the weight of electrode is light, which can reduce labor intensity. Matrix titanium material can be recycled. Titanium electrode has low working voltage, low power consumption, high current efficiency, and insoluble titanium electrode is not the insoluble anode in its true sense, but the consumption rate is very low. Depending on the different using condition and using environment, the general service life of titanium electrode is in the range of half a year to fifty years. But when use the titanium electrode, it need to pay attention to the following notes to keep the long-term safe operation and play its good performance.
1. After oxidation and sintering of titanium electrode, the surface of the coating is black, and the surface without the coating is blue without the performance of the electrode, and the black side is used as the cathode.
2. The density of normal operating current is 2000~5000A/m, the current is too large to shorten the life of the anode.
3. The electrolyte can not contain cyanide ion, fluorine ion. These impurities will severely corrode titanium matrix.
4. Titanium anode cannot be bent and knocked greatly, otherwise it will cause the loss of coating of precious metal.
5. The working temperature of electrolyte is not too high, the ideal temperature is 25-80℃.
6. In the production, the anode is kept clean, and it can not be contaminated with oil or other attachments, so as not to affect the electrolytic effect and electrode life.
7. When install, remove and operate the titanium electrode, the surface of the titanium anode can not have friction of hard objects, otherwise it is easy to make the attachments in the surface separate, which will seriously affect the service life of the electrode.
