The application of titanium plate in electroplating industry
Submitted by admin on 06/13/2016
As a kind of precious metal, titanium and titanium alloys are widely used in electroplating production of circuit boards. So, we should know some of their properties, as a metal, titanium has three major characteristics:
1.no rust
2.light weight, the density is only 4.51
3.high strength (tensile strength 28 - 160kgf/mm)
Titanium has excellent mechanical properties and excellent specific strength (strength / density ratio), titanium alloy has excellent performance. The mechanical properties of titanium alloy are affected by the following factors: the type of alloy, the amount and proportion of the alloy, the processing method, the amount of processing, the heat treatment condition before use and so on.
Titanium metal also has the following advantages:
1.High temperature characteristics:
At high temperature, the tensile strength of titanium is excellent, titanium metal can be up to about 300 degrees, titanium alloy still have a stable strength in 500 degrees.
2.Low temperature characteristics:
In absolute zero degree, it is not brittle, and it has good resistance to fatigue strength and fracture toughness.
3.Anti fatigue toughness:
But after welding, the heat affected zone has obvious anti fatigue strength.
4.Corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance:
The corrosion resistance of titanium depends on the stable oxide film on its surface.
