Strong corrosion resistance of titanium mesh

In the corrosion resistant medium environment, the surface of high purity titanium mesh will produce a layer of dense, strong adhesion, inert oxide film, resulting in passivation phenomenon, to prevent the titanium mesh matrix from being corroded, so as to achieve the role of strong corrosion resistance. Especially in the following using environment, the corrosion resistance is more excellent, such as seawater, wet chlorine, chlorite and hypochlorite solution, nitric acid, chromic acid and organic metal chloride salts and so on. (For example: the corrosion rate of 60% nitric acid and pure titanium wire in nitric acid solution is only 0.001mm.a-1). With excellent corrosion resistance, titanium mesh replaced the traditional application of materials, such as nickel free stainless steel mesh, aluminum mesh and other metal materials, pure titanium mesh has long life and safe and reliable operation.
